Perhaps everything that has happened and continues to happen to me this year is linked to Tongji University, an MGM programme. It was here that I first realized what business management was all about - the interconnection of many elements, such as business negotiations, marketing and customer insight, geographical coverage and supply chains, balance sheets and much more. Most importantly, I began to understand the role I could play in these processes. It was here that I realized my own capabilities and understood the logic of the great and powerful Chinese language and culture. At the same time, I have not lost touch with my homeland and my multinational and amazingly beautiful country, and I have also made new loyal friends from different countries around the world, with whom I hope to be friends for the rest of my life.
